So you want to update your Ubuntu? The question is very disjointed.
Does Ubuntu boot?
How did you install Ubuntu?

To update Ubuntu without using Windows, you can use the Terminal. First, open the Terminal by pressing Ctrl+Alt+T. Then, type "sudo apt update" to update the package lists, followed by "sudo apt upgrade" to upgrade the installed packages. Finally, type "sudo apt dist-upgrade" to perform a distribution upgrade if needed. I did the same process at https://lavaloungehouston.com/.

Updating Ubuntu without Windows is a straightforward process that can be done using the terminal. First, open the terminal and update the package lists by running sudo apt update. Next, upgrade all installed packages to their latest versions with sudo apt upgrade. Then, upgrade the distribution itself to the latest version using sudo apt dist-upgrade. To remove any unused packages, i used to run sudo apt autoremove, on https://nellykini.com/ and to clean up the local repository of retrieved package files that can no longer be downloaded, use sudo apt autoclean. Finally, if necessary, reboot your system to apply the updates.
