Please verify that /var/crash is empty, in case manually delete crash reports.
Also clean-up package cache.
sudo apt-get clean && sudo apt-get autoclean && sudo apt-get autoremove

Then try update again:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get -f install

In case of errors post them here please.
Try also:
sudo dpkg --configure -a

Well done.

> 11 not upgraded.

We still have broken dependencies, possibly due to messed up sources.list or ppa or whatever, hence it doesn't make sense to install a new package until this is fixed and dpkg is satisfied, hence the request again, please post complete output of:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

Thanks.
