yes maybe its much better .....right now i'm downloading a big number of packages/software with synaptic and i can't stop the download process .
I had a problem with my ssd disk and till i'll find the source of the problem i make some installations... if i had a dollar for every installtion i would be rich lol :-(
I want to have almost all the available apps on my system and it takes some time.

I wished they would have a better default server for greece.

You can install and use apt-fast, its a nice script which uses axel to download from multiple sources (command line only afaik). Dead handy
