wget is Missing!

Asked by Donovan Hawn

So, today I tried to install Mumble, but then when I typed into the terminal 'sudo apt-get install mumble', and said 'yes' to installing, this is what I got:

E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?"

So, I go ahead and type 'sudo apt-get update' and it then comes up with this, the point of my question:
"E: Type 'wget' is not known on line 59 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list
E: The list of sources could not be read."

So, my question is this: how can 'wget' be missing in the first place, and what can I do to get it back?

E: The list of sources could not be read."

This mean that you have word wget in line 59 and that ia why you have problems.Just to be sure run

cat /etc/apt/sources.list

and post output here.
