When i try to install Simple compiz manager I get an error = "Could not apply changes! Fix broken packages first" . Please help

can you give the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a

Then run:

sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get -f install

And give that output

It was 11.04 and it was a mess so i removed it and fresh installed good old 10.04 LTS. Happy and running smoothly.
