Maybe just another ppa error.
Please close all GUIs, Synaptic, Software-Center, Update-Manger.
Open a terminal: ctrl+alt+t
Type:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

Please open your sources.list and post the content here.
Type:
gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
