apt and openjdk error
Asked by
Meenakshi Sundar Sugavanam
Hi
I am new to Linux.Recently i installed the Ubuntu 10.10 and tried to configure my usb modem. It involved installing a package called brctl2648 and i tried to install it.It said apt is not installed and install open jdk.I tried the instructions it said but it ended in vain.So i downloaded the latest openjdk package from launchpad services and tried to install.Immediately the software center pops up with message stating "THE PACKAGE IS NOT HAVING SATISFIABLE DEPENDENCIES" and the install button grayed out and disabled.
So kindly "HELP ME".
