Combo audio, microphone input not recognized/working

Hi!
My new laptop got a combo audio 3.5mm input. Sound output works fine, but the microphone of my 4pin combo audio headset is not beeing recognized. I spent the last few hours by trying several solutions for this problem, but nothing worked yet.
