If you run :

alsamixer

Are all levels cranked and unmuted?

Everything is unmuted except 3rd bar. There is text SPEAKER, above that text is text MM but there is not bar and I can't change anything at this field. Maybe some drivers are missing.

The problem now is that I cant turn on sound by presing up or + for speaker section(3rd bar) in alsamixer.

It is unmuted 00 bot the volume is down I cant change it by using + up or q w e for speaker bar, I even cant see it. And I think that it could lead to the sound problem, I just have very poor knowledge about linux.

I suspect that your sound card's codec is experiencing the following bug, which does not have a solution yet (for Ubuntu 12.04 and 12.10):

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1168768

I can only suggest trying Ubuntu 13.10 in a LiveCD session and hoping that sound works better in Ubuntu 13.10.

I have no further suggestions to make.

Is there an option that I install any other operation system in virtual box to get sound?
I just dont want to uninstall my ubuntu 12.4 right now.
If Yes then which one do You suggest, I just need it to use sound for studies.

Thanks.

You can try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Check if the sound is not muted or turned down low.
2. Verify if your audio drivers are installed and updated.
3. Restart your system and check again for sound.
4. Try installing additional drivers using the command sudo apt-get install pavucontrol -y pavucontrol or  sudo apt-get install alsa-utils, in the terminal.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Karlis for more information if necessary.
