setting for the top (desktop) menu-line is compressed.

Asked by Henrik Nilsson

Dear Ubuntu-friends!

I am running a Danish Ubuntu Licid..... So there may be some translation errors! :-)

My top Menu (on desktop), that is the one showing: "Programs Places System ? Chrome other-app" and so on has got a wrong setting.

My error was :
Right-click (between icons) on menu-line ->
Settings ->
Unclick "Expand"

    --- The Menu-Line became "Compressed" !!! Cute but I dont like.

Now I can not "Right-Click" on Menu-Line (between icons). Because there are no "between" icons.

What do I do?

Thank you all.
Henrik

My solutions was:
I created a new "Panel-line" -> (wich was not compressed) ;-)
Moved the icon/apps/links to my new "Panel-Line"
When the original "Panel-line" was 3(or less) icon/apps, there was room (as in "between") for a right-click.
Now I was able to choose "Settings" and select "Expand"
Then I moved my icon/apps/links back.

(I probably could have kept the new "Panel-Line" and discard the old. (as in move all), but I want to keep things as original for now.)
