Upgraded to latest. now all music skips.can I rollback?

Asked by Dave Darrin

I have over 4000 music files and after my upgrade to 9.10 two weeks ago my music files all skip while playing.
The computer which was very fast is now insufferably slow. It sometimes takes so long to load a page
that it times out.
Can I roll it back to the previous system, as it worked very well up to the update,Or will that further corrupt or destroy my files?

Alright so do you have all your files backed up somewhere on an external
file. If so then you can just do a clean install. All linux experts
recommend doing a clean install so it doesn't mess with you previous
configuration :)
