Put the Windows XP CD in, and boot he computer up and go into the recovery console. Select the Windows XP Installation and enter:
fixmbr

Once that's done, you reboot your machine, and use a partition manager to return those partitions to windows use; you can even use the Ubuntu LiveCD I guess for that. LOL.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for answering my question about Ubuntu. But I still need a little help...when inserting the Windows XP CD and booting the computer and going into the recovery console I am asked for the adminstator password; I never assigned a password for the administrator. Therefore, I was not able to continue with your solution. If you know a way to get around this problem it would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Try to use your own Windows user password -- Windows usually installs giving the initial user administrator access.

Can you help with this problem?
