booting Acer Evo with Ubuntu installed causes a 'secure boot failuer'. Anyone got a solution?

This problem seems to be known on the internet, but I have not seen a solution.
If you set the boot menu (accessed by F2) when it is working to 'secure boot' disabled it works for a while. But secure boot get re-activated automatically after a number (less than 100) of switch-offs and starts and there is no easy cure, but shops can do it.
Apparently this problem is not common for Windows users.
