Did you burn the iso to the disk as data or did you burn the iso to the disk so that the files of the iso go onto the disk?

If you read the disk do you have many files or do you just have one?

if you are using virtualisation then they can mount iso files so burning it isn't really necessary

i burned it through BURN IMAGE in the RECORDER MENU.. i have tried mounting the image file directly from my hard disk onto the virtual media but it again gives the same error..and in the DVD i am not able to read any file..it opens as empty but in properties it shows a part of memory occupied..but no files are visible on exploring the DVD

Ok, Did you MD5 check the ISO file? Did you boot to the CD and verify the disk/

Ya i did MD5 check..there was no error...the file shows 420MB instead..i have done the booting of DVD in the virtual machine only..ya i did verify the DVD after burning it..

also i tried to write the image file through WIN 32 DISK IMAGER on a 8GB pen drive but before writing it says that it can CORRUPT THE DRIVE..so i didnt go further ,, i want to know that even if i write the image file on pendrive, will the pen drive be further available for use or it will be permanently occupied with that image file.
