Skype

Hi,
having installed Skype in jaunty and earphone plugged in I tried echo test to find no sound whatsoever... screen says problem with audio playback

Try from Main menu-->Options-->Sound Devices to change the devices; with each change make a test sound.

have same problem of no sound with skype tried the advice given by Vihar without success

 Hello redryder,
I followed Vihars suggestion and it works for me. I am a relative
newcomer to Linux and can only wish you success in getting it right
with help from Vihar and others who have been there.. done it!?
