No Internet

Asked by swift240

Hi all I installed Linux Ubuntu 9.04 with all updates and no problem but when I reboot I lose the internet, I have done nothing more than install all updates and a few programs.

This is the third time of installing ubuntu 9.04 because of this problem but no matter what extra programs I install its the same problem, no internet after rebooting.

Its a wired internet bye the way, what can I do to get it back?

I am using my laptop at the moment XP, I want to get back on line with my tower.
I have checked the connection information and its all there as before, I simply can not get on the internet.

TIA.

Mike.

Its ok I got it sorted, I eventually found that I used the Add/Remove/All Available Applications.
It was a program from there don't know what one?

So I re-Installed Ubuntu 9.04 and only used All Open Sauce Applications and no have no problem.
