I see two problems:

1. "Temporary failure resolving 'archive.ubuntu.com'"
Apparently you have got a (temporary) network problem

2. "sudo apt-get update && apt-get install"
This command is wrong.
Apt-get install needs sudo in front (for acquiring admin rights), but the way that you issued the commands, sudo is activated only for the first part of your commands (apt-get update).

You should use sudo in front of each command in the line, e.g.
sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade && sudo apt --purge autoremove

kaffeine-player is only available on the unstable edge channel. It could break and change often.

I suggest using VLC media player.
