I have just down loaded ndiswrapper-utils-1.9, tried it and the message this time is,
"Error:Dependency is not satisfiable: ndiswrapper-common." The machine i want to use ndiswrapper on has on connection to the net so i am down loading to a pen and pass the file that way. Does this make any differance ? my machine goes to package installer straight away!

Hi,

How related is it to your previous question https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/70565 ? It is rather difficult to pick information from several questions. What are the exact steps you have followed? On my 9.04, ndiswrapper-utils-1.9 is a perfectly valid package.

Hi,

installing new packages or upgrading them on a machine that does not have internet access is reasonably involved.

if you can't get an internet connection to the cmahine (f.ex. by using a network cable) then you can install the packages having transferred them to the PC in some way (f.ex. using a pen)

However, ndiswrapper-utils-1.9 depends on ndiswrapper-common, so you'll need to download and install ndiswrapper-common first

you can get it here http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/all/ndiswrapper-common/download

Can you help with this problem?
