Dear Ubuntu users,
May I ask your kind help in order to solve the following issue:
I am looking for a possibility to install the software
of the ePub format on a new Kindle Paperwhite 4
e-book reader, if this is possible at all.
I appreciate any understanding and readiness to help!
I use Ubuntu 22.04 op.syst. On my desktop comp.

I would install the snap package:
FB reader first to see if it reads the book.
For Ubuntu only to read Ebooks
Easy to install or remove.

The kindle devices are not running the Ubuntu operating system but something else, which allows only very restricted modifications. If you want to install a program that can read epub files on the kindle, you have to hack the device (not recommended).

The better possibility is installing calibre on your Ubuntu system, using it for converting the epub file into the kindle format (as far as I know Mobi/AZW3), and then transferring that file to your kindle device.
