HDMI sound distorted

Asked by marc

Hi. I have migrated to 22.04 and since some weeks ago, my HDMI sound output to TV is distorted (sounds like playing very slow with some cracking in to background). Sound through UBS headset works fine. I suspect that is has been caused by an update. I thought i had fixed it by change the sample rate in daemon.conf but it is coming back. My HDMI was working fine before.

Are you aware of anything that could have caused the problem?

Cheers

Have you tried a different HDMI cable? Have you tried a different HDMI port on the screen (if one exists)?

hi thanks. I don't believe it is something to do with the HDMI cable and TV
port, because it works with other computers.
