Hello,
while waiting for alternate 9.04 CD to arrive to upgrade from Hardy heron I have deactivated Broadcom driver seeing as I dont have wireless.
Before installation of jaunty should I enable Broadcom or should I leave well alone to allow Cd to do the business!?

Id disable it to make the system as simple as possible. You could have also made the subject of this question more accurate:
