new upgrade causes probelms with internet connectivity

Hi Support Team - I recently upgraded to version Ubuntu deb 0.98.9.2. Now the internet connection fails all the time. I can connect to internet for a short while, then connection starts to drop. Please help. Thank you. L. Gibbs.

Does the system have a make and model?
Which release of Ubuntu?
What WiFi chip?
Do you have the latest BIOS?
Have you rebooted your router?

3) Wifi chip 4G
4) How do I find BIOS?

What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a

I don't know what "Ubuntu deb 0.98.9.2" is....

Perhaps try Gnome 1:3.36.4-Oubuntu 1

You did not explicitly tell how your computer is connected to the internet - LAN cable, wireless or GSM stick?
