Ubuntu 17.10 - How to create VLANs in netplan without "unknown key address" error?

Asked by Colin

Following the example in the netplan man page:

              ethernets:
                eno1: {...}
              vlans:
                en-intra:
                  id: 1
                  link: eno1
                  dhcp4: yes
                en-vpn:
                  id: 2
                  link: eno1
                  address: ...

Results in an error on the "en-intra" line of "unknown key address" when running "netplan --debug generate". This is with other values filled out as necessary.

I've tried a few other keys similar to "eno1-word" and "eno1.10" with no luck.

How do I create VLANs in netplan without the "unknown key address" error?

Can someone upload a working configuration file with a few VLANs from Ubuntu 17.10?

Thanks.
