keyboard illumination

Hello
I have just upgraded to ubuntu 17:10 and the command line for light up my illuminated keyboard is lost again and now i cant insert the commandline anymore
i just to to this in gedit /etc/rc.local ... xset led named "Scroll Lock"
this line is not working in terminal anymore

what can i do to solve this?

ok
i started this as a question no: 658603 and i got an answer that i should reåort this as a bug so i did and now this has become a new question???

never mind... how do i get this right then?
