Youtube-DLG downloding error

I am using Ubuntu 17.04. I have installed Youtube-DLG for downloading YouTube videos. Whenever I paste URL and click download button, it turns out an error but the message displayed is "Download completed'. How to resolve this problem?

As I remember, I downloaded the software from the website and installed
using Archive Manager.

If you just want to download videos there are plenty of extensions / addons for your favourite browsers. Do they work OK?
