Slow game when open "World of Goo" in jaunty

Here I find my answer: X/UxaTesting (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/UxaTesting). UXA is a very unstable right now, so I testing and report any bug. But in previous version have no problem yet.

SOLUTION: just add this lines to /etc/X117xorg.conf (maybe is in blank).

Section "Device"

Fijate si tenes los efectos de compiz activados, en aplicaciones como
juegos y reproduccion de videos en algunas maquinas da problemas de
relentizacion. Es un tema de drivers si bien pueden estar instalados
los controladores, no estan muy bien soportados en algunas placas.
Generalmente porque son nuevas, o algunos modelos especificos ya que
puede que ande mejor una placa viejita con compiz y video, y sin
embargo una mas neuva de fallas, es una loteria realmente.Es cuestion
de reportar los errores para que los tengan en cuenta y los puedan
solucionar.

Fijate con el comando glxinfo en una terminal, si te dice "direct
rendering: yes" es que tienes aceleracion. Si cuando activas los
efectos, no te dice eso, desactivalos y fijate como anda.

Hola ivancete.

Como indico anteriormente, el problema se solucionó activando UXA.

Este tema ya lo cerraría, pero me quedó la duda respecto donde se debió publicar, ya que hace tiempo que no publicaba acá. Casi siempre lo hago para las versiones beta de cada versión de Ubuntu, así procuro que en el CD/DVD final no ocurran estos errores. Además si no es error, me interesa saber como se hacen las cosas.

La respuesta es si: tiene direct rendering.

El único problema es que el vídeo se me ha complicado, aún sin activar UXA, y no puedo acceder a X en una resolución agradable. Intenté utilizar xrandr para configurar más de una pantalla, pero solo crea espejos y no me extiende el escritorio. Pero eso es otro problema, en el equipo productivo estoy con intrepid, así sigo el hilo de los temas relevantes a X, especialmente con los drivers Intel.
