Wifi enable icon disappeared,Wired is working but wifi lost

Hello All
I was upgrading my system but after that Wifi icon disappeared.No enable wifi icon is also there.I am able to connect to internet through wired connection only.I am a new user of ubuntu 14.
Kindly help

What is the output of:

sudo lshw -C network; lsb_release -a; uname -a; sudo rfkill list

Ubuntu crashed meanwhile .I have installed ubuntu 16 and everything is
working fine now

I assume you mean Ubuntu 16.04.
