wrong kyboard as shortcut list doesnt work at all

states alt+f4 to close current window but does not work plus the ctrl+P to print a document or page doesnt work I have to use the fn key plus prtscr key to print

My computer is a satelliteL750 Toshiba Laptop which has a windows logo key and a function key which is the fn key so have found in last few days no key combination in the supplied keyboard shortcut list matches my keyboard can anyone help fix this as do not no how using terminal as usully everthing happen automatically

as far as i know yes as i installed from ubuntu mate version 17.04.12

if haven't got latest bios where do i get it from and will it install
automatically?

I have au for local set and have au english us english uk english canada english all listed. I also tried to make us english the default but short cuts still not working

You are still having a problem:
I have au for local set and have au english us english uk english canada
english all listed. I also tried to make us english the default but
short cuts still not working

problem seems to be fixed as few minutes ago went to keyboard settings and
changed to 104keyboard generic settings and pressed ok then the alt f4 key
combination worked so am preampting every other combination will now work.

below is the correct keyboard but am unable to find this in the suplied
list of available keyboards for ubuntu-mate version 17.04.12
