bug 16.04 live mount

Running Ubuntu 16.04 live CD from a USB drive.
Attempt to mount a hard disk partition in terminal under /mnt/sda8, and it mounts as verified from the mount command

But the file system is not accessible under /mnt/sda8

If the problem has already been resolved (at least I assume this from reading Bug #1681608 ), then you should close this question document and your other one https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/616400 as well.
This is to avoid that the supporters waste their time working on a question that is not relevant any more.
