Downloaded ubuntu how do i install it

You don't want to open the iso in IsoBuster, you want to burn it as a CD image.

Do you have any CD burning software?

I'd go with what Nhasian says. Dual booting is a great way to go because it means yu can continue using the OS that's working while you get used to the new one. There's no need to wipe out Xp. You'll find these instructions extremely similar but they are written by different people.

Thanks Tom I got it finally. Dont know how I did it but I clicked on a file in the folder and it took right off and installed. So far it works great!
