I do not need a stupid response. What I need is help in contacting
Canonical store. I have indicated in the bug you are responding to that
your suggestion has already been tried and does not work.

Hi:
First of all, please don't insult to anybody in this forums because almost al the people in this site are no Canonical employees and make this work for free.

No one here can explain why your order was not shipped to you because no one here has the needed info to help you.
The answer was the right one, I can understand you but nobody in this place mistreated you and you have no right to do that.

Maybe canceling you credit card payment trough your credit card make the people of the store more sensitive about your claiming (I think this is the best way).
Hope this helps, let me know.

Sorry about the last response. The tone is all wrong. The point I am trying to make is that this is as good a place as any to seek this kind of assistance, seeing that the place where assistance should be available does not work. In the absence of assistance from https://shop.canonical.com/contact_us.php I am going to get it any where I can. There is no point beating my head against a wall at https://shop.canonical.com/contact_us.php. I even tried to get assistance from Royal Mail track and trace.

I am not asking anybody here to explain why Canonical shipped my order to the wrong address, if that is really what happened. If you had waited a few more minutes, you would still have seen the apology included in this response. I realized immediately that the tone was wrong.

In any event the response did ask me to do exactly what I indicated did not work. In as much as nhasian was trying to help, I feel justified in being further angered by his response.

In agreeing that his answer is correct, your answer, Ariel, could also be justification for further anger. https://shop.canonical.com/contact_us.php does not work or I would not be posting it as a bug.

In further response to Ariel. Your idea to cancel the payment would be a good idea if I was not so in love with Ubuntu. I want to help to support the work by first of all not canceling this payment to Canonical store, I want to be able to continue to shop at Canonical store but with confidence, and I want to be able to recommend it with the same kind of confidence with which I recommend Ubuntu. I am hoping that some body with some connections to Canonical store might see this post, either here or in the Ubuntu Forum and do something about making it easier to contact the store.

Service with Ubuntu is excellent and yet it is all free. When users buy stuff at the store, they should reasonably expect to get some service.

No problem Leonard,
I repeat, I understand your anger, I don't want to cooperate to increase it and yes if I was in your position those suggestion may increase my anger.
Anyway, the issue here is there is no direct solution to your problem here, just trying to give you some non technical suggestions (as a credit card claim, freeze your payment and so) and besides that this is a technical site, wishing the best for you and wishing that your problems finally find a solution.
Hope this helps, let me know.

I must have clicked on the button in error. I still have not yet heard from Canonical store or anyone who might know how to contact them.

Thanks to nhasian and sorry again for my angry outburst. Thanks to Ariel who was patient enough to respond and offer as much assistance as could be expected.

I have received a response from Dave of Canonical store and the matter has been dealt with.
