wubi would have downloaded an instalation.iso file corresponding to version selected by you

search for an .iso file(approx.. 700 MB) in your ubuntu/ kubuntu folder created in partition selected during instalation

you can gave path of this .iso file to be used as virtual cd drive in virtual pc
and it would be usable as a cd drive inside virtual machine
boot the vm and install as usual

I hv tried that option already .. didnt find any.

However, there is one file named ".fuse_hidden0000000400000001" which is 699
MB.

Wanted to find out if renaming a copy of it to a .ISO would work within
Virtual PC.

Let me know what you think. Cheers.
