Start up password

Asked by scouty88

I have two accounts on my computer one for the admin with a password and a guest account without a password. When you switch between the two account it asks for the password. (which is what I want) but when the computer is started up, it logs into the admin account automatically. How can I change this?

Hi

If it is logging in automatically, then this should take care of it for you.

Using your admin account, go to System->Administration->Login Window. It will ask for your password, after you've entered it, it will open up the Login Window Preferences dialog box. Go to the Security tab, and uncheck the box for Enable Automatic login.

Hope this helps.

I am using windows xp
