Is this not possible? Can you please give me step by step instructions. I am new to ubuntu so I am not very familiar with all the ways to work this puppy. Also is not possible to copy files over a LAN from windows computers. I have a wired LAN and am running 2 other computers with Windows XP. Sounds like you are having trouble mounting your windows98 partition.

Please open Please boot to Ubuntu and open a terminal from Applications-> Accessories-> Terminal and type

sudo fdisk -lu

Please tell... the output of this command.

Then we can provide the proper command for mounting your win98 partition.

Thanks
