Have you tried other media players?

I assume you have installed the DVD decoder

Hi

The answer you gave has solved my problem, I uploadded the lateset
libdvd pkg, which came about after upgrading from 9.04 to 16.04.

I also have the same problem with my laptop upgrading from 14.04 to
16.04 I foolishly expect any necessary such upgrades to happen
automatically!

I went to the page to give feedback but could not see where to inpu the
above.

Many thanks for your help.

Kind regards
Alan Hanson
