Hi, Jill.
when you are on the internet or yahoo, you are already in the browser. If you look at the top left of the window, probably third row down, you should see a horizontal panel inscribed File Edit View History Bookmarks Tools

You can see the instructions I gave start with file. So, second from the left, click file, then click your way through to font, write down what size is showing, then select a smaller size to suit.

Hi still, Jill.
First I should try and clarify two points
1/ Its not at all wise to include personal details in forums such as this.
2/ It is helpful for all users here if each question is registered as solved as soon as it is solved, and register a new problem each time you request a new solution. That way, folk don't need to search through lengthy instructions to find the solution they too need.

Naturally, if their solution is hidden beneath another question, their search for that solution may be fruitless.

Now, to answer your question, at the extreme top of your screen, click System/Preferences/Appearance/Fonts and again adjust to suit. I can assure you that if, once again, you record what you have changed a setting from, your Ubuntu experience will be ever so much easier

Happy Computing :)
