hevc code for vlcplayer

tried three different codes, vlc player 2.2 nothing works, using ubuntu mate 14.4
the best mate for me, tried all others

Did everything, installed the codes, VLC upgraded to 2.1.6. but I am
only getting sound, no picture....still using ubuntu mate 14.4

Still didn't work, thanks for your suggestions, maybe a problem with the
file it's self...

Phew !!! it started working in VLC player now..go figure....
