major prob lems with this os system your fixes not working

Tony more information needed. What fixes have you tried? What did you want to download? How did you try to download it? What have you done to restore? Has any error messages shown up? Please give output of terminal command below.

Information about your computer would be helpful.

"cant login to admin user" Ubuntu's security concept is to disable the root user ID for security reasons.
For doing administrative tasks in Ubuntu there is the sudo functionality.

If you want to do an administrative action (like installing software, changing system-wide settings etc.) you have to use "sudo command parameters"
e.g.

sudo apt-get update

You will be asked for entering your own password as confirmation for this administrative task (note, you will not get feedback when typing the password), and then the administrative command should work as expected.

thanks for all emails but still not work replied to responses . tried reboot menu in soft center it says theirs a broken pipe .not sure i understand where to put the commands for some of the suggestions cat/etc/isb-relealse/or project: launchitself=.ubuntu

We need some more facts about your system. Please proceed as follows:

Open a terminal windows (e.g. by simultaneously pressing ctrl-alt-t)

Open this Launchpad question document in a web browser.
Mark this line

cat /etc/issue

with pressed mouse button that it is shown in reverse colour.
Switch (alt-tab) to the terminal window.
Press the middle mouse button. This will paste the command into the terminal window.
Press 'Enter' to execute the command.

Do the same exercise (mark the line, and paste with middle mouse button) with the following commands:

uname -a

whoami

ls -lad ~

Finally use the terminal window's menu entries "edit - select all" and "edit - copy" to copy all output and paste everything into this question document that we can see the output.

This question was expired because it remained in the 'Needs information' state without activity for the last 15 days.

everything suggested tried all reboots in menu wont download says broken

tried all thats been suggested by your partners rebooting it wont downloaqd
says broken pipe when i get on it wont login to my admin user say kde not
in write mode i have a dell inspirion 1525

You do not need to download anything.
Just log in
open a terminal (e.g. by simultaneously pressing ctrl-alt-t)
issue the command

cat /etc/issue

and tell us what you see.

all that happened is a bunch of terminals opened nothing else and if you
have read all my emails youd know what all ive tried i dont understand why
i can use guest user but not admin and it doesnt save anything and the
memory in my computer is slowly being used up

Please provide the output of he following diagnostic commands:

cat /etc/issue

uname -a

whoami

ls -lad ~

ls -lad /home

mount

with cat/etc/issue it say no file with uname -a it shows linux

B. A short sentence like "tried to copy doesn't do anything" does not help identifying what there is going wrong.
Please describe in more details what you are doing, and what there is not happening as expected.

Let me describe once more with every detail that I can think of:

1. Open the Launchpad question document https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/279888 in your web browser and scroll down until you can see the last message (probably marked #25), should be exactly this text.
2. Open a terminal window (by simultaneously pressing ctrl-alt-t)
3. Switch (alt-tab) to the web browser with the instructions
4. Use your mouse with pressed mouse button to mark the following line:
cat /etc/issue
such that it is shown in reverse colour (usually white on blue)
5. Alt-tab to the terminal window
6. Move your mouse inside the terminal window and press the middle mouse button
7. Press the Enter key
8. Tell us in detail what exactly there is happening when executing these steps.
