install from CD

booting from CD for new install Have 4 Gig memory, 325 gig HD and install will not continue past user and password screen. Have instaled with this disk before with no prob. I did select my location, and the keyboard I have been using this version for almost a year now with mimumal problems using the same disk to install

Can you boot into this CD and use the "Try Ubuntu without installing" mode, or does this also stall in the same way?
