What OS is the client?
What OS is the server?
Can they ping each other?
CAn other systems connect ok?

Details please!! We cannot see your system and we are not psychic......

sorry, earlier I stated that the OS was "Linux or Windows (not sure)". The OS is actually Ruby. The database is not accessible.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Regarding this issues,
I believe Client OS is Linux or Windows (not sure..... It was developed by a company that has gone awry on me) I also believe Server OS is Linux or Windows (again, not sure) No, I am not able to ping.
They systems do not connect.

Other information:
Amazon AWS says MYSQL is not online.

Please HELP!!!!!!
