Delete key not working

Hi there, I have been using Ubuntu for quite some time but every now and again I loose the functionality of Delete and arrow keys. Sometimes it comes back on its own or I tried to follow some advice I found online. It worked about couple of times and seems not to be so successful now. So I wonder why it is happening and whether there is something I could do to fix it. I have 14.04 version and last time it happened was after I installed an update as I always do when I'm prompted. Please, help as it is a nuisance. Thank you Francis

Hi Murali, that is the link I have tried in the past and it worked but no this time. The problem stopped with the latest update I have installed so I'm back to normal. It is just annoying any time and every time it happens. Thank you for your help
