security cert now renewed but error message still appears saying it is expired

error message saying security cert invalid.
I looked at the view details box within the error message box and it said that the certificate had expired on 13/03/15.
After reading one or two of your answers I tried to follow their suggestions.
Now the error message still appears every few seconds and I have to be very Qick to press cancel to get rid of it for a few seconds,
But the View details box within the error message box now says that the certificate is now valid till 16/03/16.
How can I get rid of this persistent error message which no longer applies?

Thanks for your questions. I cannot answer them because I have no idea what they mean, being totally non-technical, operating by trial and error. so no disrespect intended. Answers using simple language would probably be impossibly lengthy.+ I suppose I had better acquire a bit more knowledge and contact later.
