Ok. There is still a problem "gzip: stdout: No space left on device", although the free space on /boot was already up to 50%
Please provide the output of the commands
df -h
df -i
grep miro-releases /etc/apt/
dpkg -l | grep ' linux-'

Just a small problem with a PPA left (is not yet solved because of an error in my previous commands)
Execute the commands
sudo rm /etc/apt/
LANG=C sudo apt-get update
LANG=C sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
dpkg -l | grep ' linux-'
dpkg -l | grep desktop
and copy/paste all output as you have done before.

Many thanks for all the assistance especially Manfred Hampl's. Much appreciated.
The problem is resolved.
Best.

Just two last comments:
You have some packages installed that are related to Ubuntu-desktop. Due top the fact that you are using kubuntu (kubuntu-desktop), these packages are not needed.
You can remove them with the command
sudo apt-get autoremove --purge
You have only limited space on the /boot partition. Periodically new versions of the kernel package are provided. These use the space on the /boot partition, and when you have too many kernel versions installed you will again run out of space. So you should make sure to limit the number of installed kernel versions (to maximum three of four).
The command
sudo apt-get autoremove --purge
will remove outdated kernel packages. So you should execute this command periodically (e.g. once a month, or whenever the update manager has installed a new version of the kernel).
