Please open a Terminal and run these commands to install Adobe Flash:

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-installer

I also suggest installing Google Chrome which has the newest version of Adobe Flash integrated into the browser.

If that does not solve this issue, please send us the output of this Terminal command:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; dpkg -l | egrep 'flash|gnash|swf|spark'

If you install the ubuntu-restricted-extras you should get a Flash plugin. The output of the above commands will be useful though. You can open a terminal by pressing CTRL + ALT + T

Thanks

What browser are you using? If it's chromium, you need pepper flash. http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2014/06/install-pepper-flash-chromium-ubuntu-14-04

Also, if you have an older CPU (such as Athlon/Sempron XP), Flash will not work because it requires the CPU to support SSE2.

Thanks Mark

I was able to install the Flash plugin. I use Mozilla Firefox and I propose
to also install Chrome on my system
