when Ubuntu starts I receive a disk drive for /temp is not ready yet or not present and will not fully boot.

Asked by sawyer ras

Ubuntu is missing /temp and will not let me boot. And also says it is a serious error. I can either press I to ignore, s to skip mounting, or m for manual recover. How do I fix this

Did you mount /temp manually? Usually it is not a mount but a folder on root. In that case remove, comment out or correct the line in /etc/fstab.

Also the correct spelling on Linux is "/tmp".

You can edit the line from liveCD. If the OS actually boots you can edit /etc/fstab from there too

What version of Ubuntu do you have installed?
