Epson printer slow in ubuntu

My Epson Stylus C66 (photo edition) works well under XP. Under Ubunto 13.10, it is very much slower and I haven't found a specific driver for it. I've tried Epson but they don't seem to support drivers for linux. Does anyone know where a useful driver is located?

I've not had time to look before tonight (18 mar14). Is there any advice for an Epson STylus C66 - photo edition. Still very slow under Ubuntu.

Looks like it might be a driver problem, so perhaps you can only wait for it to be fixed, like HP printing in linux which is also very slow :(
