I downloaded Ubuntu 7.10 to a CD, now how do I install it on my computer and begin using it?

hi. i didnt quite understand if you wanted to completely remove windows from your computer, but if you did then you have to select the option to use your whole harddrive for the installation. if not then you have to select that you would like to make a partition so that you can use either OS. installation is actually pretty simple. just follow the directions after you insert the disk. personally, i think ubuntu is a far superior OS than windows, so have fun! have anymore questions, dont be afraid to ask. my messenger handle is <email address hidden>.
