DHCP Client table

Asked by Edmond Condillac

Would it be possible to please get advice and guidance on how to access the DHCP Client table for my router, please? Kindly let me know what additional system information regarding the desktop computer is required. I'm trying to find out why I run out of my broadband bandwidth unexpectedly every month.

Thanks for your time and help.

Most home-grade routers have this in their web-based config page. If you access http://192.168.0.1 in your web browser.
Log in and then you will need the manual for your router to show where the information is located in the device, or you can hunt around manually.

The link http://192.168.0.1 fails to open with the error message: Google
Chrome could not connect to 192.168.0.1
This happens on Ubuntu 13.04 , 1204 as well as Windows 7.
Kindly advise further, if possible.
Thank you

I only assumed 192.168.0.1 was your router's internal IP for access. Try reading your manual for the actual IP.

Thanks for the clarification of the misunderstood instructions. I'm having to wait for the ISP helpline to answer my queries. Thanks for your help
