SCREENSAVER DISAPPEARED UBUNTU

I cannot access the Screensaver feature. It is not located in System Tools>Prefernces. I dont know where it is. I forgot which version of Ubuntu I have, either 10.04 or 11.04

At first: both named Ubuntu version are not supported for desktops anymore. You should update it. I recommend the version 12.04 LTS which is supported until 2017. http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop
Make sure your persoanl data is backed up.

Newer versions of Ubuntu Linux don't have a screensaver as know from older and other systems anymore. Instead they switch the monitor to standby to converse power. This can be configured under Brightness and Lockscreen.

I dont want a newer version. I had it until yesterday in Screensavers under
Preferneces but that category disappeared after doing updates.

Thats all right. I didnt realize the updates included a change to version 12.04 and it was explained there is no screensaver. However, I got them back by looking online and entering a command in the terminal and it worked.
