Create own Linux Distro

Hi, Friends,

Please help me out. I want to create my own Linux Distribution(preferably like Ubuntu). Can someone please tell the step by step procedure to create a Linux OS ?

feel free to ask for more information, if needed.

It depends on how different you want your distro to be. Do you just want it to be Ubuntu with different artwork and packages, or are you really creating your own distro?

Thanks for reply. Actually I want to create my own Distro. But it will
be a great pleasure if you give solution for both of the options.

So that I can measure my capabilities and can choose which one is
possible for me.

You can do linux from scratch, provided you already have a recent linux distro installed, and that you don't skip any portion of the book and do it in exactly the order it tell you to do: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/
